Step 1: Locate Enrollment Center

  • Visit https://appointments.uidai.gov.in to find nearest enrollment center
  • You can also call 1947 for assistance
  • Walk-in centers are available in post offices, banks, and government offices

Step 2: Documents Required

  • Proof of identity (PAN, Passport, Voter ID, etc.)
  • Proof of address (Bank statement, utility bill, etc.)
  • Proof of date of birth (Birth certificate, school certificate, etc.)

Step 3: Enrollment Process

  1. Visit the enrollment center with original documents
  2. Fill the enrollment form
  3. Provide biometric data (fingerprints and iris scan)
  4. Get acknowledgment slip with enrollment ID
  5. Aadhaar will be delivered to your address in 60-90 days

Update Aadhaar Address

Online Method

  1. Visit https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
  2. Login with Aadhaar number and OTP
  3. Select 'Update Address'
  4. Enter new address details
  5. Upload proof of address document
  6. Submit and pay fee of ₹50
  7. Track status using Update Request Number (URN)

Offline Method

  1. Visit nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra
  2. Fill address update form
  3. Submit with proof of address
  4. Pay ₹50 fee
  5. Get acknowledgment slip

Name Correction in Aadhaar

  1. Visit https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
  2. Login with Aadhaar and OTP
  3. Select 'Update Demographics Data'
  4. Choose 'Name' option
  5. Enter corrected name
  6. Upload supporting document
  7. Pay ₹50 fee
  8. Track status online

Link PAN with Aadhaar

  1. Visit https://incometax.gov.in
  2. Go to 'Link Aadhaar' section
  3. Enter PAN and Aadhaar number
  4. Enter name as per Aadhaar
  5. Enter date of birth
  6. Submit and verify with OTP
  7. Linking is free of cost

Download e-Aadhaar

  1. Visit https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
  2. Enter 12-digit Aadhaar number or 28-digit enrollment ID
  3. Enter full name and pin code
  4. Enter security code
  5. Enter OTP received on registered mobile
  6. Download password-protected PDF
  7. Password is first 4 letters of name (CAPS) + YOB
